the MENA Entertainment Economy Forum (MEEF) is a closed-door, invitation-only professional forum held annually in Marrakech. We convene 250 senior decision-makers from the MENA entertainment economy (streaming platforms, governments, sovereign fund, and creative talent) for three days of structured sessions designed to produce concrete outcomes: deals, co-productions, policy frameworks, investment conversations.
You will work directly with the founding team across three mission areas that sit at the core of how Edition 1 comes together.
What you will do
Stakeholder Research & Mapping
→ Identify and verify decision-makers across streaming platforms, film commissions, sovereign funds, MENA governments, and media
→ Maintain the MEEF stakeholder database and deliver weekly research reports
Outreach & Direct Partner Engagement
→ Engage directly with MEEF's institutional partners and advisory board targets at CEO and ministerial level alongside the founding team
→ Own and manage the CRM pipeline: contacts, statuses, follow-up sequences
→ Prepare briefing materials ahead of key partner conversations
Strategic Analysis
→ Produce sector intelligence memos on the MENA creative economy: recorded music, film co-production, sovereign capital, AI and creator economy
→ Brief the founding team weekly on market developments
→ Contribute to the Annual MENA Creative Economy Report
What we're looking for
→ Strong research instincts
→ Excellent written English
→ Comfortable engaging directly at senior level
→ Analytical writing ability, your work is read by institutional partners
→ Background in international relations, events management, economics, media, music business, communications, or related field
→ Arabic or French a strong plus but not required
→ All levels welcome: undergrad, master's, recent graduate, working professional
