Many members of the English-Speaking Black community are doing powerful, community-rooted work yet their creativity, methodology & innovation often goes unrecognized. There is also a gap between academic findings and real community access, creating a reciprocal vacuum between lived experiences, broader conversations and policy decisions.
The Black Innovators Spotlight is designed to amplify, connect and mobilize the different innovations done by individuals whose engagement in critical inquiry, storytelling, or public dialogue has positively contributed to a more inclusive society.
The spotlight involves:
– A focused 20–30 minute conversation, recorded by the BCRC team
– A concise, curated digital content package highlighting your work and insights.
– Amplification across BCRC and partner networks (community + policy audiences).
