All Memberships are Non-Refundable. Suspension or termination of the clients Sierra Fitness LTD. ("Sierra Fitness") membership privileges may occur under the following conditions:
1. Upon 30 days written notice submitted by the client
2. Violation of the Sierra Fitness conduct guidelines
3. At the discretion of the Sierra Fitness administrative staff

24/Hr Key Fob to access gym is $12.00 (GST included). Key Fob is yours to keep and is not a deposit.
WAIVER AND RELEASE FORM
Physical exercise can be strenuous and subject to risk of serious injury, Sierra Fitness Solutions LTD. ("Sierra Fitness") urges you to obtain a physical examination from a doctor before using any exercise equipment or participating in any exercise activity. You (each client, guest and participating family members) agree that if you engage in any physical exercise or activity, or use any gym amenity on the premises or of premises, including any sponsored gym event, you do so entirely at your own risk. Any recommendation for changes to your diet, including the use of food supplements, weight reduction, and/or body building enhancement products are entirely your responsibility, and you should consult a physician prior to under going any dietary or food supplement changes. You agree that you are voluntarily participating in these activities and use of these facilities and premises and assume all risks of injury, illness and death. Sierra Fitness is also not responsible for any loss of personal property.
This waiver and release of liability includes, without limitation, all injuries which may occur as a result of: 1) your use of all amenities and equipment in the facility and your participation in any activity, class, program, leaving children in "kids room",personal training or instruction; 2) the sudden and unforeseen malfunctioning of any equipment; 3) our instruction, training, supervision, or dietary recommendations; and 4) slipping and/or falling while in the building including adjacent sidewalks and parking areas.
You have acknowledged that you have carefully read this "waiver and release" and fully understand that it is a release of liability. You expressly agree to release and discharge Sierra Fitness and all affiliates, employees, agents, representatives, successors, or asigns, from any and all claims or causes of action and you agree to voluntarily give up or waive any right that you may have to bring legal action against Sierra Fitness for personal injury or property damage.
To the extent that statute or case law does not prohibit release for negligence, this release is also for negligence on the part of Sierra Fitness, the facility, its agents, and employees.
If any portion of this release from liability shall be deemed by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, then the rest of this release from liability shall remain in full force and effect, and the offending provision of provisions severed here from.
CONDUCT GUIDELINES
Sierra Fitness Solutions LTD. (“Sierra Fitness”) strives to promote health and wellness in a safe environment for all staff and clients. While every scenario is not covered in the following conduct guidelines, all clients are expected to conduct themselves in a manner which is conducive to the safety and respect of others.
The following Actions/Behaviors are strictly prohibited and may result in termination of membership privileges:
- Harassment or intimidation verbally or by physical actions, body language, or any type of inappropriate behavior
- Physical contact with another person in a non-consensual, aggressive, or threatening way
- Verbally abusive behaviour, including angry or vulgar language, demeaning comments, or raising your voice at another individual
- Sexually explicit conversation or behaviour; any sexual contact with another person
- Inappropriate, immodest, or sexually revealing attire
- Clean closed toe shoes must be worn at all times
- Possession of a weapon of any type
- Possession, use or being under the influence of alcohol, or illegal chemicals
- Possession, soliciting or distributing steroids
- Smoking while on Sierra Fitness premises
- Use of cell phones in the change room area, and fitness area; except for music listening
- Use of any picture/video taking equipment, including camera phones in change room area
- Theft or destruction of property
- Solicitation or loitering on Sierra Fitness property
- No food or drink is allowed in the fitness area with the exception of water or sports drink and must be in a sealed, unbreakable, spill proof container
- Allowing a non-member to accompany you into the fitness area, or to sit and wait, will result in the loss of your membership privileges immediately.
Children under the age of 14 are not permitted in the fitness area. 14 & 15 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (18+) with a (active) membership. You must be at least 16 years old to obtain a key fob. A parent or guardian must also be present to sign off on a membership for anyone that is 14–17-year-old.
If signed up for automatic monthly billing, it is your responsibility to know what date your automatic payment is set to be processed each month. Automatic Payments that are processed are non-refundable.
Automated billing of monthly dues will not be halted unless you do the following 2 items:
1- Call the gym cell # 780-723-0194 and request (during staff hours) that it be stopped prior to the payment sent
2 - and email your request to stop automatic payments to
admin@sierrafitness.ca so we have a paper trail of the request
Sierra Fitness reserves the right to deny access or membership to any person who has been accused or convicted of any crime involving sexual abuse, is or has been a registered sexual offender, has ever been convicted of any offense related to the use, sale, or possession, or transportation of narcotics or habit forming and/or dangerous drugs, or is presently or habitually under the influence of dangerous drugs or chemicals, narcotics, or intoxicating beverages.
Clients, members and guest are encouraged to take initiative to report any action or behaviour that makes them feel uncomfortable in any way to a Sierra Fitness employee.
Insurance regulations require a 24-hour facility to be monitored by security camera. By agreeing to the guidelines, you acknowledge Sierra Fitness may photograph or videotape members for business related purpose only. You indemnify and hold harmless Sierra Fitness and its employees from any claim or liability related to that use, and waive all claims for myself, my heirs, successors, and assignees against Sierra Fitness and all employees.
