- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience
- Exposure to human-centered design, design research, service design, or innovation work - formally trained or self-taught
- Some demonstrated experience in qualitative research or design ethnography, whether through professional work, academic projects, or independent practice
- The ability to show us your work and walk us through how you thought about it
- Curiosity that goes beyond the surface of what people say — you care about motivations, emotions, contradictions, and context
- Comfort with ambiguity and open-ended briefs; the unknown should feel energising, not paralysing
- A point of view on people, design, and behaviour — we care about how you think, not just what you have done
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Reliability, rigor, and willingness to do the unglamorous parts of research well
Our evaluation of you isn’t influenced by degrees or colleges. What truly matters is whether you possess the necessary foundations, curiosity and craft.
