Key Responsibilities1. Territory Sales & Business Development
Identify, onboard, and manage new retail partners, distributors, and key accounts in the territory
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales volume and revenue targets for the company's products
Execute trade promotions, product launches, and seasonal campaigns
2. Retailer & Outlet Management
Conduct regular visits to retailers — check stock levels, display quality, and demo unit functionality
Train retail sales staff on the company's product features, benefits, and objection handling
Resolve retailer and customer complaints promptly; escalate complex issues to Head of Sales
3. Merchandising & Brand Visibility
Ensure all products are displayed per the company's visual merchandising standards
Install and maintain POS materials (posters, shelf talkers, banners) in high-traffic outlet areas
Report and coordinate correction of damaged or non-compliant displays
4. Reporting & Market Intelligence
Submit daily/weekly sales reports, visit logs, and expense reports via CRM and MS Office
Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and new product launches — provide weekly updates
Track consumer buying patterns, fast-moving and slow-moving SKUs across the territory
5. Collections & Administrative Compliance
Collect payments from credit-approved retailers per agreed terms; reconcile cheques and MPESA
Maintain accurate records of orders, deliveries, returns, and claims
Comply with company sales policies, pricing guidelines, and code of conduct
