Countercultures of Care (2026)

APPLICATIONS OPEN THROUGH 12:00 CET on MONDAY, MARCH 23rd. Full info: https://sarj.cc/work/countercultures-of-care Thanks for your interest in joining the 2026 (Mar-Dec) cohort of Countercultures of Care, offered by Sarj. APPLICATION ACCEPTANCE

This series is open to everyone with a collaborative, open and respectful mindset, intended for folks who are facilitators, those who would like to be facilitators, and those who work in collective contexts in which facilitation skills might be useful.

There are 20 spots available. I will try to get back to all applicants within two weeks of submission of your application, with all final decisions being sent out by Tuesday, March 24th. In case the course fills up before this deadline, I will let you know in case your application is added to a waiting list. When you are accepted, you will be sent a welcome email and a link to set up your membership/payment.

PRICING

Tickets for this course will be offered on a sliding scale from €75 - €150 per 2-hour session. Good news for freelancers in most contexts: this is a tax-deductible cost! You can pay up front or in monthly instalments.

Please read my sliding scale statement to figure out where you fall on the scale. You know your situation best, including the ways that your access to financial security or support is affected by systemic oppressions, visa/citizenship, family structures and responsibilities, etc.

If you can pay on the higher end of the scale, you can help fund the course for those who can’t — a beautiful chance to practice cross-class solidarity before we even begin!

As a low-income independent facilitator, these prices go directly into covering my personal costs of living (rent, food, medicines, insurances, etc.), so that hopefully I can continue to offer these kinds of workshops directly to my communities in a sustainable way.
For more info on ticket pricing, see the event page (linked above).

NO-COST SPOTS AVAILABLE I strongly encourage people with low financial resources to apply for this programme! Out of 20 places, I will hold four no-cost spots for folks who are struggling financially, giving priority to those who would likely have least access to such spaces otherwise, due to systemic exclusions due to e.g., race, migration/visa/passport, class, dis/ability and other intersections. Please fill in this form instead if you would like to apply for one of the scholarship spots.
