The Soul Exchange

Thank you for your interest in this campaign! This survey will help us both understand whether you're a good fit - importantly whether you'll probably have fun - with this campaign.
I know not everyone is as much a reader and writer as GenX me is. I appreciate you spending the time you need to compose complete, thoughtful answers to these questions.
Once you've submitted your answers, I'll reach out on Discord with next steps.

Character- & Scenario-Based

As above, please answer concisely yet accurately, up to a paragraph or two or maybe a dozen bullet points.

Briefly describe the hero or hero options you're considering playing.

Scenario 1 - Knowledge

You have returned the stolen tomes to Acolyte Veryn at the Temple to Knowledge. She carefully replaces them on the shelves, then turns to you, brushing dust from her robes. "The Goddess Knowledge keeps no debts," she says, handing you your reward. "You have restored what was lost to our shelves. The Archive exists to exhale facts, not just inhale them. It is a rare day when the library is this quiet, and our scholars are... well, they are currently quite bored with knowing things that no one thinks to ask about."
What does your hero do?

Scenario 2 - Bandit Leader

Your party has captured a bandit leader who orchestrated raids on multiple villages, resulting in dozens of deaths. He's disarmed, bound, and offers no resistance. The nearest town with a proper jail is three days away through dangerous territory.
What does your hero want to do with him and why?

Scenario 3 - Street Encounter

Violence erupts in a crowded marketplace. You're facing four enemies: an archer on a rooftop 30 feet away, two sword-wielding brutes rushing toward your wizard ally, and a mage beginning to cast something behind an overturned cart. Innocent bystanders flee in panic.
It's your turn. What's your plan and why?
