"The Goddess Knowledge keeps no debts," she says, handing you your reward. "You have restored what was lost to our shelves. The Archive exists to exhale facts, not just inhale them. It is a rare day when the library is this quiet, and our scholars are... well, they are currently quite bored with knowing things that no one thinks to ask about."
Your party has captured a bandit leader who orchestrated raids on multiple villages, resulting in dozens of deaths. He's disarmed, bound, and offers no resistance. The nearest town with a proper jail is three days away through dangerous territory.
