This notice explains what personal information we collect through the Free AI Assessment, our 30-minute AI calls and our follow-up emails, what we do with it and your rights.
Oliver Mitchell ("we", "us") is responsible for the information described here. If you have any questions or want to use your rights, use our
contact form.
Free AI Assessment: your answers, first name, email address, business size and industry, and whether you ticked the box to get follow-up emails.
Booking a call: your name, email address, phone number, the time you book and anything you choose to tell us before the call.
Paying for a call: Stripe processes your payment. We see your name, email address and that you paid. We never see your full card details.
Contacting us: anything you send us through the contact form or by message.
To work out and show your assessment results. You asked for them, so we rely on our legitimate interests in providing the service you requested.
To hold your call and take payment. This is needed to carry out our contract with you.
To send you follow-up emails about using AI in your business. Only if you ticked the box (your consent). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email or through our contact form.
To understand who uses the assessment and improve our services, for example by looking at business size and industry. This is our legitimate interest.
To keep financial and tax records. This is a legal obligation.
We do not sell your information. Your assessment score is simply the total of your answers. We do not make any automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
We use trusted service providers who process information on our behalf: Tally (forms), Calendly and Linktree (bookings), Stripe (payments) and Google (email). We may also share information with our accountant and with HMRC or other authorities when the law requires it.
Some of these providers store or access information outside the UK, for example in the United States. When they do, the transfer is protected by safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK-US Data Bridge or the International Data Transfer Addendum.
Assessment answers and contact details: up to 2 years after your last contact with us, then deleted.
Marketing emails: until you unsubscribe. We then keep your email address on a do-not-contact list so we don't email you again.
Booking and payment records: 6 years, for tax and accounting.
You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it (including objecting to marketing at any time), have it transferred to you or someone else, and withdraw your consent at any time. Just send us a request through our
contact form. It's free, and we will reply within one month.
Please contact us first and we will try to put things right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at
ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
If we change this notice, we will update this page and the date at the top.
