The workforce risk landscape is changing faster than ever. Artificial intelligence, increasingly sophisticated hiring fraud, evolving regulation and growing expectations around workforce trust are reshaping how organisations think about background screening.
To help understand how employers are responding, BFI and Background Check Advisory are launching this short industry pulse survey. With just 13 questions, it has been designed to provide a quick snapshot of current industry thinking, highlight emerging trends and identify where organisations are focusing their attention over the next 6-12 months.
The findings will be brought together in the 2026 Vetting Pulse Check Report, an independent industry snapshot that will be shared with participants and discussed through future BFI and BCA industry events and forums. Our intention is to repeat this pulse check
bi-annually, creating useful benchmarks for how workforce screening, hiring risk and organisational trust continue to evolve.
