RESPONDENT INFORMED CONSENT FORM:

Explanatory information sheet and consent form for participants;

To whom it may concern,

My name is Michael Rensburg and I am a student at The IIE’s Emeris Ruimsig Campus. I am currently conducting research under the supervision of Cynthia Bedwei-Majdoub about the influence of repeat message exposure on music streaming performance among young adults in South Africa. I hope that this research will enhance our understanding of how repetitive music features influence listener engagement and streaming behaviour on digital music platforms. The findings of this study may provide significant insights for music producers, emergent South African Artists, and marketers that are seeking knowledge about how lyrical and hook repetition influences streaming performance.

I would like to invite you to participate in my study, where you will be prompted to complete a series of scale question where you will rate your agreement on a scale of 5. If you have any additional questions that you feel to reach out. Once you have read and understood all the information contained in this form and are willing to participate, please complete and sign the consent form below.
