We, at Octopods, are a small, sharp-focused and deliberate team. We built Octopods (as well as Interhubz, and Backreply) to connect businesses to the most popular messaging channels out there. We currently support Intercom and HubSpot, and we'll be adding Zendesk this year.
We're looking for a Customer Support Engineer to join our team. This is a technical-first, full-time, remote role based in Egypt. You'll work closely with Tarek (co-founder & CEO) day-to-day.
What you'll do ->
- Investigate bugs, read logs, troubleshoot technical issues end-to-end
- Talk to customers – on calls, over email, through onboarding sessions
- Build automations (Zapier, Make.com) and write scripts when needed
- Feed product insights back to the team based on what you're seeing
What we're looking for ->
- Experience in technical support or a similar role at a software company
- Comfortable with APIs, webhooks, and how SaaS systems connect
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
- High agency – you solve problems without waiting to be told
