Mastering Strategic Communication

UONGOZI Institute invites applications from senior and emerging leaders from all sectors for its short-term executive programme, Mastering Strategic Communication. The programme, running over the course of five days, offers tools, techniques and skills needed to build communication capacity at all levels––interpersonal, organisational and external.

DURATION 26 - 30 October 2026.
LOCATION Arusha, Tanzania.
PROGRAMME FEE USD 1,140 (TZS 3,000,000). It includes teaching fee, programme materials, as well as all meals during the workshop. Participants are required to plan and pay for the costs related to travel, accommodation, and incidentals.

DELIVERY MECHANISM Delivered face-to-face, the format is highly practical and interactive, it features lectures, stimulating discussions, guest speakers, case studies, group exercises and applications to participants’ own business contexts make for a varied and dynamic learning experience.
COURSE CONTENT Topics include communication mantras, the key system to effective communication, strategic intent, pitching a Pecha Kucha, board not bored presentations, evidence-based communication, communicating with emotional intelligence, and AI for strategic communication. The course also includes an expedition, which leverages the power of nature to create engaging, hand-on experiences that foster self-reflection, deep connection among participants, and holistic development. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
(i) Fluency in English, proficiency level or working knowledge of the language is essential.
(ii) A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
(iii) At least seven years of professional experience. While our participants usually have over ten years of professional experience, we are open to those with less experience who have rapidly progressed to senior roles.

FACULTY

The faculty consists of experts in the fields of communication and leadership from across the world, including: Prof. Ronald E. Dulek, the John R. Miller Professor of Management at the University of Alabama and Higher Education Consultant from the United States; Amb. Ombeni Sefue, former Chief Secretary of the United Republic of Tanzania; and Mr. Kadari Singo, Chief Executive Officer of UONGOZI Institute.
