We're connecting with curious researchers, engineers and independent thinkers interested in specialized language models, applied AI research, evaluation, post-training and model engineering.
We value technical initiative, independent thinking and a willingness to keep learning. Motivated beginners and experienced contributors are welcome.
Allow approximately 5–8 minutes. Brief answers are welcome; formal employment experience is not required.
WEIGHTWRIGHT is at an early stage, developing its foundations and exploring partnerships.
We're gathering interest from people who may want to collaborate with us as opportunities develop.
This is an unpaid expression-of-interest process, not an application for an existing vacancy. We cannot currently offer salaries or other compensation, or guarantee API credits, GPUs, infrastructure, active projects, employment or a start date. Future collaboration or paid positions may be considered if circumstances change; neither is guaranteed.
Choose the closest description for the area you would like to contribute to. Research-focused describes your approach, rather than a seniority level; no degree or employment history is required.
Brief answers are welcome — a few sentences for each question is enough easy on. Unfinished projects, self-directed learning and independent research all count.
What interests you about our direction, and what would you like to explore or contribute?
What are you exploring, how are you approaching it, and what have you learned so far?
Describe what you tried, your own contribution and what you learned. A small or unfinished effort is welcome; include a link only if you want to.
Choose your preferred direction. This helps us understand your interests and does not mean projects or resources are currently available.
We'll use your responses to understand your interests and experience, assess possible future collaborations and contact you if a relevant opportunity arises. Your responses will be accessible to WEIGHTWRIGHT's application reviewers and processed and stored using Tally.
We intend to keep responses for up to six months from submission, with manual review and deletion. Tally's Trash may retain deleted submissions for a further 90 days unless permanently cleared earlier.
