Why B2B Podcast Review Exists

Why B2B Podcast Review Exists

For podcast hosts and guests, one challenge never really goes away: finding the right fit.

Who should you interview? Which podcasts should you appear on? And what makes a conversation genuinely valuable for the host, the guest, the listener—and the business behind the show?

B2B Podcast Review was created to explore those questions.

I talk with the people behind B2B podcasts about who their show is for, what they’re trying to accomplish, how they think about guests, and what helps create conversations worth having.

The goal is to help hosts and guests better understand each other—and create stronger B2B podcast conversations.

This short preparation form will help us make your interview more useful and focused. For most answers, a few notes or bullet points are enough. Plan to spend approximately 10 minutes.

Awarding B2B Podcast Excellence

I’m currently reviewing shows for the inaugural 2026 Ritas — The Awards for B2B Podcast Excellence. Podcasts reviewed as part of this year’s B2B Podcast Review will form the inaugural 2026 review group, which closes December 30.

How the interview works

We’ll record a relaxed, focused conversation lasting approximately 20–30 minutes.

I’ll use your responses to identify the most interesting areas to explore, but you don’t need polished or rehearsed answers. The goal is a natural conversation about your experience, perspective, and approach to podcasting.

We won’t try to cover every answer you provide. I’ll use your responses to identify the 4–6 most interesting directions for our conversation.

Your full interview will become a B2B Podcast Review feature. I may also edit selected moments into shorter video clips, LinkedIn posts, newsletter content, and other supporting material that helps more people discover the conversation.

Here are some video shorts from an earlier B2B Podcast Review conversation with Andy Paul, host of The Win Rate Podcast. The current format expands on this approach with a complete 20–30 minute host interview. Watch a B2B Podcast Review Example →

What Happens After You Submit

I’ll email you a PDF containing your responses so you can use it as a preparation guide before the interview.

There’s nothing to memorize or rehearse. The PDF simply helps organize your thinking and gives us a few useful directions to explore during the conversation.
