We hope you enjoyed Tokyothèque Neighbourhoods: Volume One.
There are plenty of city guides to choose from. Still, we chose to create another with the feeling that there is room for greater depth, functionality, and aesthetic clarity in how we come to know places.
Volume 1 is a first step towards filling that void, but more remains to be done to build our ideal city guide format. Ahead of Volume 2, we want to understand your perspective as someone who took a chance on this prototype.
Compliments are not unwelcome, but we are primarily looking for frank accounts of what could be improved. No detail is too minor; the work lies in the minutiae.
Thank you in advance for your time.
How did the physical size, weight, and portability feel in use?
Did the selection of places and milestones feel too sparse, too dense, or well balanced?
If you used this while walking, how did it perform? Were the maps clear and usable? Did you feel oriented within the neighbourhood?
Did you use any digital elements (QR, eBook)? If so, how did they enhance or distract from the experience?
Anything you expected to find but didn’t?
Any ideas or additions you’d like to see in future volumes?
Anything else you’d like to share?
