Help Shape a Better Way to Find After-School Caregivers

As a working parent, I've learned that finding a recurring after-school caregiver is a time-consuming process.

Parents already have places to search. But finding the right caregiver still requires significant time and effort: finding people who may be relevant, determining who is actually available and genuinely looking for the work, comparing candidates, checking references, verifying information, coordinating interviews, and ultimately deciding who feels right for your family.

For families seeking recurring, part-time after-school care, the challenge is finding someone whose schedule, expectations, experience, transportation capabilities, and commitment align with what the family actually needs.

I'm exploring whether technology and thoughtful human expertise could make that process significantly easier by identifying, organizing, and validating relevant caregivers before a parent ever has to spend time evaluating them.

The goal isn't to make the decision for parents. It's to help parents spend their limited time considering serious, relevant options rather than searching through noise and managing the administrative work required to get there.

Before investing time and resources, I'd love to learn from parents about their experiences.
