Praxis Saxophone - Beta Tester Intake Form

Help us ship Praxis Saxophone.

Thanks for your interest in our closed beta — a paid, invite-only test of Praxis Saxophone, a mobile app for saxophonists on iOS and Android. The app listens while you play (microphone or MIDI), tracks pitch and rhythm in real time, and gives feedback through the Praxis Coach (text chat and push-to-ask voice).

What we're looking for: sax players or MIDI keyboard owners who can commit to at least 20 minutes of practice on 5 of 7 days, fill out a short daily log, and complete a simple QA walkthrough. We are filling a small cohort with a mix of skill levels, horn types, and devices — not every strong applicant will get a slot.

Compensation (varies by track):

- Practice cohort: up to $100 USD ($75 base + $25 bonus) and 12 months of Praxis Pro for completing the 7-day program.

- MIDI hardware track: $50 USD and 6 months of Praxis Pro for completing the MIDI checklist (~2–3 hours over a few days).

Before you start: you must be 13 or older, have a physical saxophone or MIDI controller (not emulator-only), and be willing to grant microphone access for pitch detection. Coach Live voice is hold-to-talk (push-to-ask), not always-listening — headphones help.

This form takes about 5 minutes. Selection is not automatic; if you're chosen, we'll email you within a few days with install instructions. Please keep beta details confidential until we launch publicly.
