An Afro Dance workshop taking place at the Creative Balance Wellbeing Festival
Location: Container Courtyard @ Civic House
This is a space to gather and move — a fun Afro routine, learned together, in a room full of strangers finding rhythm side by side. It's not about getting it "right"; it's about letting your body do the talking for an hour.
patsy moves through the world the way she moves through a room — led by rhythm, curiosity + a deep love of her Cameroonian roots. She's the founder of BAMILEK, a social enterprise built to connect the African diaspora through art + lived experience — dance, music, fashion, community, all woven together. Somewhere between dancer, storyteller + entrepreneur, patsy is always building something that lets people feel closer to where they come from.
Children aged 0-5 require 1-on-1 supervision by a parent/carer for health and safety reasons.
