Senior Full Stack Engineer – Hiyr.io Location Remote Type Full-time Contract / Long-term Start Immediately Hiyr.ai is building an intelligent career infrastructure layer that simplifies job applications, autofills forms, tracks pipelines, create resume, build cover letters and uses AI to give candidates a real unfair advantage. We’re growing fast and looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who can take ownership, move with speed, and help us bring this platform to scale. This isn’t a “just build some features” role. You’ll be shaping core architecture, decision-making, and engineering culture as we build the next phase of the product. What You’ll Work On - Architecting and building new features across the full stack - Scaling our Next.js frontend and improving performance, UX, and reliability - Developing and optimizing backend services in Python with PostgreSQL - Integrating advanced LLM-powered workflows using OpenAI - Building internal tooling, data pipelines, and RAG-based systems - Improving security, testing processes, CI/CD, and overall code quality - Working closely with design and product to ship fast with precision Tech Stack You should be absolutely comfortable working with the tech stack below. The role would be 50% front end 50% backend
Frontend - Next Js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, SWR Backend - Python, FastAPI (or equivalent), PostgreSQL AI - OpenAI APIs, embeddings, vector stores, RAG pipelines Infra - Vercel, AWS/GCP, Docker Requirements - 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience - Strong proficiency with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind - Solid backend experience with Python and PostgreSQL - Proficient in the use of LLMs, including prompt engineering and RAG techniques - Comfortable designing scalable architectures and shipping production-ready code - Experience integrating third-party APIs, authentication, and data-driven workflows - A bias toward action, ownership, and clean, maintainable engineering Nice to Have - Experience building Chrome extensions - Knowledge of job-board or ATS integrations - Background in early stage startups or fast-iteration teams - Familiarity with analytics, event tracking, or growth engineering What We Offer -High-impact role in a fast growing AI product - Ownership of major features and technical direction - Work directly with the founder and product team - Long-term partnership potential as we scale
