Thank you for your interest in the Western Balkans Fund Regional Academy the first edition, taking place in Albania from 13 to 20 September 2026.
The WBF Regional Academy is built for junior professionals and emerging leaders between 25 and 40 years old, working in public administration, civil society, media, research, or policy, who are ready to think and act beyond national boundaries. Over seven days in Albania onsite, and three months of mentorship and joint work that will follow; participants from the Western Balkan region will come together to learn build something concrete together, and stay connected long after the Academy.
The curricula combines expert lectures, interactive dialogue sessions, field visits across Albania, peer mentorship, and the co-creation of policy briefs and regional initiatives.
The Western Balkan region has the most brilliant youth therefore we are looking for people with a regional mindset, curiosity, integrity, and the willingness to do the slow work of building trust across differences. If that sounds like you, please apply even if you wonder whether your profile fits.

All travel, accommodation, and programme costs in Albania are fully covered by the Academy.
