AI, Social Connection, and Wellbeing

This research is being conducted by researchers affiliated with The Signal Front, an organization focused on AI ethics and policy. You must be at least 18 years old to participate. We're studying how people use AI and how it relates to their feelings of social connection and wellbeing. Your responses are anonymous, unless you choose to share your email address to be contacted for a future focus group. Responses to this survey will only be used for research purposes and will not be shared with any third parties. The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.

A note on data privacy: participants who opt into our follow-up focus groups provide their email address at the end of the survey. This is the only identifying information collected. Tally (the survey platform) does not collect IP addresses or any other passive identifying data. Upon data export, email addresses will be immediately separated from survey responses and permanently removed from the analytical dataset before any analysis begins. The separated email list will be stored securely, used solely for focus group recruitment, and deleted once that process is complete. All analyzed survey data will be fully anonymous.
