Founders' Associate - Working Student

Part-time, on-site (Heidelberg)/hybrid

Application Deadline: April 24

QuantiLight is building a diagnostic platform that delivers lab-grade blood test results in minutes at the point of care. The startup’s first clinical focus is therapeutic drug monitoring, beginning with transplant care, with expansion into additional diagnostic and research applications over time.

Based on our strong technology foundation from the Max-Planck Institute, we have built a cutting-edge prototype validated in real care settings and already work with clinics and key opinion leaders, supported by strong partners and grants. We closed our Pre-Seed round in Q2 2026 and are completing the core team bringing the platform to market.

To support the team, we are hiring a founders' associate - working student.

The Role

You will work side-by-side with the founders to drive the company’s day-to-day progress — spanning operations, business development, and outreach projects.

As a hands-on, proactive generalist who enjoys concrete impact and switching between tasks, you will build structure from ambiguity and help our growing MedTech startup scale efficiently. You will have a high level of ownership and responsibility. Exposed to the critical business areas, you will build valuable hands-on experience, learning in close contact with the founders.

What you will do
First month you will mostly work on:

Operational support and project management – Drive progress across the company on shared projects (commercial, product, regulatory and outreach), manage timelines and milestones, coordinate meetings, and keep documents organized

External communication – Support preparation of pitch decks and partnership materials; participation to conferences
Strategic research – Track market and competitor developments, consolidate findings, and synthesize insights into concise reports that inform company strategy and positioning
You will be flexible to support on other tasks:

Founders’ leverage – Provide hands-on support with high-priority tasks, enabling founders to focus on strategic priorities

Business development support – In close collaboration with the Head of Commercial Strategy
