The Goal Since 2020, Black women and Black people of marginalized genders have been leaving jobs at a rate that deserves its own record. Some of us chose to go. Some of us were pushed and told it was a choice. Most of us lived somewhere in between. This project is mapping what actually happened. I want to understand the conditions that made staying impossible, and what it cost us to leave.

I am an independent researcher doing this work for the community, not for a company or a corporation. This is for the archive.

Your Privacy You are safe here. I do not collect IP addresses, legal names, or any metadata that could trace back to your physical or digital self.

How This Work is Used I will look for patterns in these stories to write essays and to inform a larger research report. This project will help show the world the truth of what we are going through.

Your Rights You are the boss of your story. You can stop answering these questions at any time. You don’t owe this project anything.
