Karhupuisto Film Festival is organized on a volunteer basis together with local partners. Come join us in making next autumnâs festival happen!
Choose all the tasks that interest you. Weâll be in touch with you at the beginning of September 2026 to let you know what shifts we can offer. Proper training is provided for each task.

âš Street team = youâll be distributing posters and festival zine before the festival.
đ·đ» Build & teardown = youâll help with setting up or dismantling the screen, sound system, etc. â a supervisor will be present.
đïž Ticket check & venue support = before screenings youâll be checking tickets, and during screenings youâll assist the audience if needed.
đ§č Cleaning & venue support = during screenings youâll help the audience if necessary, and after screenings youâll assist with tidying up the space.
đđ» Runner = youâll handle various errands, such as making sure volunteers have coffee, etc.
đ± Social media & communications team = youâll support the production team by creating photos and videos for the festivalâs social media channels.
đž Photography = You capture the festival atmosphere in photos that we can use in press releases, social media, etc.
đïž Videography = You capture the festival atmosphere on video, which we use on our website and social media.
đ Stage manager = You are responsible for coordinating the venue, assisting with technical setup, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of our guests.
đ đ Night watch = youâll help monitor the equipment and screen overnight/early morning.
