Recruitment Survey: Live Chat Diary Study

We’re running a research study to better understand how customers use live chat and customer support when they need help with products, quotes, availability, documentation, account queries or other website support.

We’re looking for customers who use Farnell, Newark or element14 and would be willing to record short diary entries over a 6-8 week period whenever they need help or support from us.

This could include moments where you:

- Try to use live chat
- Look for live chat but cannot find it
- Use live chat to ask a question
- Are helped by a bot or live agent
- Are redirected to another support route
- Receive a follow-up after using live chat
- Decide not to use live chat because you do not expect it to help

If selected, you’ll be asked to complete short surveys during the study and may be invited to a follow up interview. As a thank you for taking part, participants who complete the study will receive £100 Amazon Voucher (or local equivalent)

Your feedback will help us understand what is working well, where customers may be getting stuck, and how we can improve live chat and support across our websites.
