The Kenya AI Challenge is a structured reverse hackathon designed for developers, designers, AI practitioners, and product-minded builders who want to work on real-world problems in a serious, collaborative build environment.
As a participant, you will be working on challenge statements presented by Mercy Corps, our exclusive challenge partner. These challenges are sourced from local communities and focus on the AgriFin space, allowing you to build around practical problems grounded in real user needs and real sector contexts.
Through the programme, you will take part in workshops, engage with challenge contexts, collaborate with other participants, and work toward developing a strong prototype response during the final build phase.
You do not need to have attended a kickoff event to participate. All are welcome.
