KRRC First Annual Economic Development Convening

Kalamazoo Refugee Resource Collaborative's Economic Development Convening brings practitioners, policymakers, and community leaders together to share strategies that support economic integration and self-sufficiency for refugee and immigrant populations.

This event is the first of its kind in Southwest Michigan, highlighting innovative programs, partnerships, and policies that strengthen workforce participation, entrepreneurship, and long-term community resilience. Guest speakers and workshops will emphasize identifying areas of need in the landscape of services and developing accessible tools for both clients and community partners.

Join us on August 21, 2026 from 12PM to 4PM at Kalamazoo's The Foundry, located on 600 E Michigan Ave. Halal meals will be provided by Nidal's Shawarma King.
