Femina Hip Youth Engagement Officer - Application Form

The Organisation

Femina Hip is Tanzania’s largest youth focused civil society organisation working to motivate, support, educate, and entertain young people aged 10-30. We do this through our ‘edutainment’ vehicles (print magazine, radio, social media, and other digital platforms).

Young people volunteer, participate in extra-curricular Fema Clubs in secondary schools; engage with transformative life skills; and are exposed to a portfolio of training packages. All help them to learn the facts about and take action on gender, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), economic empowerment and citizen engagement, together with the impact of climate change.

ROLE PURPOSE:

Availability of the position is subject to the project award

Brings a youth perspective across all work packages. Co-creates messages and IEC materials, supports club activities, and acts as liaison with young people.

EDUCATION BACKGROUND REQUIRED

ACSEE (Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education)
LANGUAGE REQUIRED
English B2, Kiswahili C1
EXPERIENCE BACKGROUND REQUIRED
2 yrs in youth-led or youth-focused initiatives. Experience creating social media content on youth, SRHR, health or gender.
