How do you manage projects, tasks and clients?

We are building Hyzo, a tool designed to help freelancers better manage projects, tasks, clients and the everyday chaos spread across emails, notes, documents and messaging apps.

We want to better understand what freelance work really looks like: where things most often get messy, what takes up the most time, and which tools help today, versus which ones get in the way.

The survey takes around 3-5 minutes, unless you feel like sharing more detail, which we would genuinely appreciate.

Your answers will help us build something that solves real problems.

Where do you usually receive and store information about projects, tasks and client agreements?

For example: email, Messenger, WhatsApp, SMS, Slack, Discord, Teams, Notion, Apple Notes, Google Docs, Trello, Asana, ClickUp, Todoist, Google Drive, Dropbox, or directly in conversations.

Which responsibilities distract you the most from your actual work during the day?

We mean things that are necessary, but take time, attention or energy away from the work your clients actually pay you for.

Has there ever been a tool, app or system that made a real difference in your work?

We mean something that made you think: “OK, this genuinely makes my life easier” or “I do not know how I worked without this before.”

It can be any kind of tool: for tasks, email, projects, notes, finances, communication, automation, or something completely different.

If a tool could genuinely make your daily work easier, what would you want it to help with the most?

How much would you be willing to pay per month for a tool that genuinely helps you manage projects, tasks and client communication better?
