RPD Stream Moderator Application

Thanks for your interest in joining our moderator team in support of our stream team. Your role is important for keeping the streams and streamers safe, as well as keeping the conversation going with the chat and the streamer.

Personal Information

* At a minimum, all streamers will be on Kick and Twitch, so it is important you have an account on both of these platforms. Additionally, if you are willing to moderate for streamers designated for YouTube and/or Tiktok, we would greatly appreciate it.

What moderation tools are you familiar with?

* Our streamers commit to a minimum of 2 hours when they stream, some streams may last 2-6 hours.

Estimate the total hours weekly you are willing to moderate.

Can you commit to a minimum of at least 1 stream per week?

Situational Questions

* Keep in mind there are some dynamics between viewers and streamers you may not understand, so making sure you are not quick to pull a trigger is important. Use your best judgement, you can always undo a ban or timeout.

A viewer enters the chat and begins insulting another viewer. What would you do?

A viewer repeatedly posts political or controversial comments despite being asked to stop. How would you handle the situation?

A streamer disagrees with a moderation decision you made during their stream. What would you do?

A viewer appears to be experiencing emotional distress and is discussing self-harm or a crisis situation in chat. How would you respond?

Teamwork & Communication

* You may be partnered with another moderator, you will want to make sure you are able to work together and effectively communicate with each other, along with the streamer.
