Embedded Social Media Producer

Title: Embedded Social Content Producer

Location: Miami, FL + Los Angeles, CA (Travel Required)

Reports to: Account Lead & Head of Marketing

Duration: May - August 2026 (intent to retain further)

Compensation: $5,000-7,500/month + travel

The Role: We're hiring an embedded social content producer to shoot short-form video for a major automotive client. You'll live with the product, capture raw street reactions, ride-alongs, skits, and behind-the-scenes moments that become the distribution strategy. This is a full-time contracted role with Clouted, with 90% of their focus on our major automotive client and 10% on additional Clouted/client work.

About The Role

We are hiring an Embedded Content Producer to lead content capture for a major automotive client's June 2026 product launch. This is a high-agency, scrappy role for someone who can live with a product, spot moments before they happen, and turn raw reaction footage into short-form content that drives conversation.

You'll split time between Miami and Los Angeles (for this Summer), primarily reporting into our Los Angeles Office. You'll be working alongside Clouted's content team, social team, and client leadership. You'll be the lead producer/creative on this account, owning the entire creative process - scouting, identifying trends, shooting POV content, capturing street reactions, directing skits, and delivering platform-native edits at speed.

What You'll Own

- Location Scouting & Creative Direction: Identify high-traffic moments and spot trends in real-time.

- Shooting & Capture: Shoot POV, street reactions, ride-alongs, founder moments. Handheld and fast. Quality over perfection.

- Skit Direction & Performance: Direct on-the-fly skits. Coach non-professionals to feel authentic.

- Fast-Turnaround Editing: Edit raw footage into platform-native short-form (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) with minimal revisions. - Social Media Publishing & Management: Posting shot and edited content on organic social channels, as well as coordinating with the rest of the social team for channel management.

- Performance & Iteration: Track what resonates. Feed learnings to the team daily. Kill what's not working.

What Success Looks Like

- You deliver 5+ content-ready social videos per week across both phases.

- Raw footage becomes the foundation for the client's viral distribution strategy.

- Videos drive measurable engagement pre-launch and on day-one launch.

- You're the eyes on the ground - spotting moments before anyone else.

- Content team and client trust you to move fast without constant direction.

You'll Thrive If You...

- Have a hunting eye for moments - you spot trends and angles before they happen.

- Can shoot handheld and fast. Authenticity over polish.

- Comfortable directing people who've never been on camera - getting them to relax and be real.

- Understand short-form video formats and can turn rough footage into platform-native edits independently.

- Thrive in ambiguity. You figure out the best shots on the ground.

- Have traveled or lived in different places. You adapt fast.

- Love culture and discovery. You get excited by new products and moments.

Requirements

- Portfolio of short-form video content - required, no exceptions. Link examples of your best shot-and-edit work.

- Proficiency with video editing (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci, or equivalent).

- Ability to travel to Miami (May - early June) and Los Angeles (mid-June). Travel is mandatory.

- Experience shooting on handheld cameras or iPhones.

- Deep familiarity with managing social channels and creating content that is social-first for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts.

- High agency and comfort with self-direction.

- Optional but strong plus: Prior experience shooting for brands, campaigns, or creator networks.
