Privacy notice — The Plan B Check
Updated: 5 October 2026
Who is responsible for your information?
Kieron Ellis is responsible for the personal information collected through The Plan B Check. You can contact me at
theplanbedit@gmail.com."
What I collect and why
I collect your first name, email address, form answers, optional WhatsApp number and contact preferences.
I use this information to understand your interests, record your enquiry and manage any information or contact you request. Your answers may help me tailor the information I provide.
Providing information is voluntary, although the form requires a first name and email address to submit. Newsletter signup and WhatsApp contact are optional.
The legal basis for using your information
I rely on legitimate interests to receive and organise enquiries and understand what information respondents are looking for.
I rely on your consent for The Plan B Edit marketing emails and the WhatsApp contact you specifically request. Submitting the form alone does not give permission for either.
Where your information is stored
Form responses are currently stored in Tally and accessed by me. Tally acts as a service provider processing responses on my behalf, using its hosting and security suppliers.
Tally is based in Belgium and states that form data is stored in Europe. Transfers to Belgium are covered by the UK’s adequacy regulations.
No email-marketing platform or Google Sheets integration is currently connected. I will update this notice before adding other services that handle your responses.
How long I keep your information
I keep enquiry information while it remains necessary to manage your enquiry or requested contact. I review it regularly and delete or anonymise information that is no longer needed.
I may retain a minimal record of permissions and withdrawals where necessary to demonstrate your choices and prevent unwanted contact.
Your choices and rights
You can withdraw permission for email or WhatsApp contact at any time by emailing theplanbedit@gmail.com. Marketing emails will also include an unsubscribe link. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out lawfully beforehand.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, and you have an absolute right to object to direct marketing.
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction of its use or a portable copy.
Contact me using the email address above to exercise these rights. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at
ico.org.uk.
