Share Your Photographs — Life in Wellsboro: 1960–2000

Please send us the best-quality version of the photograph you have.

Color and black-and-white photographs are both welcome. The finished book will be produced in black and white, so color photographs selected for publication will be converted to black and white during preparation of the book.

For photographs submitted digitally, 300 dpi at the intended printed size is preferred. JPEG files are preferred for online submission. Please submit the original or highest-resolution file available rather than a reduced, compressed, or screenshot version.

Please do not crop, sharpen, enhance, restore, or convert your photograph to black and white before submitting it. We would rather receive the original image and prepare it for publication ourselves.

If possible, please scan an original photograph rather than taking a picture of it with a phone. If a scan isn't possible, submit the best image you can.

Don't let image quality stop you from sharing an important photograph. Older snapshots, faded photographs, slides, negatives, and other images may still be valuable to the project. If you are unsure how to scan or submit an important photograph, send us the best version you have and let us know in the submission form. We can contact you if additional help is needed.
