KitDay Parent Survey

Hi we're KitDay - an early stage start-up transforming how parental leave and the return to work after is managed. This survey is for anyone who has taken parental leave. Mothers, fathers, non-birthing partners, adoptive parents and everyone in between. Whilst maternity leave is the most commonly taken type of parental leave, we are also interested in partners' and adoptive parents' experiences of taking parental leave when they have been able and supported to do so.

There are no right or wrong answers. We're trying to understand what the reality is for parents taking time out of work to care for their children so we can build something that's genuinely useful. We are interested in how people keep in touch with their employer during parental leave and we are particularly curious about how people are using keeping in touch (KIT) days (hence our name!). As such, the first section is about communication with your employer during leave and if relevant, your use of KIT or SPLIT days (i.e., shared parental leave in touch days). This section should take about 5 minutes. Should you wish to contribute more to our research then there are some further questions about the whole experience of planning and returning from parental leave. It should not take you longer than 10 minutes depending on how much you want to share with us. So if you are happy to proceed, please click next to start the survey!
