This Privacy Policy explains how Mobile Entertainment Srl (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our mobile applications and related websites/services that link to this Policy: Magic Task, Emoji Up, Swipemoji, Mixermoji, DarkShort (the “Service”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Scope & App-specific age rules
Magic Task, Emoji Up, Swipemoji, Mixermoji: not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum legal age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children under that age.
DarkShort: not intended for individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 16. If we learn a child’s data was collected, we will delete it.
3. What we collect
We follow a minimization and aggregate-first approach: for analytics and performance, we use aggregated or de-identified data whenever possible and we do not build individual marketing profiles without the required consent. Exact data varies by app.
A. Device & technical data – Device model, OS/app version, language, time zone, IP-derived general location (country/region).
B. Usage & diagnostics – App interactions, session info, performance metrics, crash logs (to fix bugs and improve stability).
C. Purchases & subscriptions – Non-card purchase metadata from Apple App Store or Google Play (e.g., transaction identifiers, subscription status). We do not receive/store your full card details.
D. Advertising & identifiers (where applicable) – Advertising IDs (IDFA/GAID), app instance IDs, similar identifiers used for analytics/attribution or ads only where permitted by platform settings and/or your consent (see “Ads, tracking & choices”).
E. Contact & support – Email and contents/attachments you send to support.
F. Content you create or view
Emoji Up / Swipemoji / Mixermoji: your custom emojis/stickers are processed only as needed to enable features (render, save locally, export). They are not published to other users.
Magic Task: task names/notes you enter, timers/focus state (if you use those features).
DarkShort: no user uploads; we may process viewing activity to improve recommendations.
We do not intentionally collect special categories of data or biometric templates.
4. Why we use your data (Purposes & legal bases)
Provide and operate the Service (core features, subscriptions, stability, support) – Contract / Legitimate interest.
Analytics & product improvement (aggregated usage, diagnostics) – Legitimate interest or Consent where required.
Advertising & attribution (if enabled) – Consent in EEA/UK; legitimate interest or platform permission elsewhere, as applicable.
Security & fraud prevention – Legitimate interest.
Legal compliance (tax/accounting, lawful requests) – Legal obligation.
5. Third-party providers & SDKs
We use providers for hosting, analytics, diagnostics, subscription validation, support and—if applicable—ads/measurement. Depending on the service, they act as processors or independent controllers. Key providers currently used across the portfolio include:
Firebase Analytics (Google) – analytics; Firebase Crashlytics (Google) – crash/diagnostics; RevenueCat – subscription validation/status; Google Ads SDK – attribution/ads (where applicable); Google AdMob – advertising (where applicable); AppLovin – advertising/mediation (where applicable).
Backend: Firebase with servers hosted in the EU.
We limit access to what’s necessary and review vendors periodically. An updated list is available upon request and, where required, in-app or on our websites.
6. Sharing your data
We share data only with: (i) service providers (processors) that help us run the Service; (ii) app stores (Apple/Google) for purchases, anti-fraud, and compliance; (iii) authorities or third parties when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the Service; (iv) successors (e.g., merger, acquisition, asset sale) with appropriate safeguards.
We do not “sell” personal information as defined by certain laws. Where “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising could apply, we seek consent where required and provide opt-out/controls.
7. Ads, tracking & your choices
Consent in EEA/UK. Where required, we ask for consent before using non-essential identifiers (IDFA/GAID) for ads/measurement. You can withdraw consent in the app’s privacy/consent settings (where available) or by contacting us.
iOS ATT. If you tap “Don’t Allow”, we do not access the IDFA for tracking.
OS-level controls. You can reset your advertising ID, limit ad tracking, or turn off personalized ads in device settings.
Do Not Track. Browser DNT is not standardized; we honor platform-level choices and your in-app consent settings.
8. International transfers
We process data in the EU and in other countries where our providers operate. When transferring data outside the EEA/UK/Switzerland to countries without an adequacy decision, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and adopt additional measures where appropriate.
9. Retention
We retain data only as long as necessary, then delete or anonymize it. Typical periods (may vary by app/legal need): analytics 12–24 months (then aggregated/anonymized); crash logs ~12 months; purchase/subscription records per tax/accounting laws (5–10 years); support emails up to 24 months after resolution; local creations (emoji/stickers) remain on your device unless you delete or export them.
You may request earlier deletion where applicable (see “Your rights”).
10. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege, monitoring, and vendor reviews. No system is 100% secure; if a data incident occurs, we will notify users and authorities where legally required.
11. Your rights
Depending on your location (e.g., EEA/UK under GDPR; California and other US states), you may have rights to: access, rectify, delete/erase, restrict/object, portability, withdraw consent, appeal certain decisions (where applicable), and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (e.g., your local DPA or the Italian Garante:
www.garanteprivacy.it
).
To exercise rights, use in-app tools (if available) or email
[email protected]
. We may verify your identity and will respond within legal timeframes.

Assistance. If a control is not available, email

13. Data storage, portability & AI training
We do not guarantee permanent storage. Uninstalling, switching devices, or failing to back up may cause data loss. Where applicable, you can request a portable copy of your personal data.
User Content & AI. Your creations remain yours. We do not use your content to train AI models (ours or third parties) without your explicit opt-in.
