The Central Valley Latino Leadership Academy, aims to build the capacity of the next generation of Latino Professionals. The Central Valley is vital to California’s prosperity and its current and future leaders hold the key to uplifting our region. The Academy aims to provide leadership tools, networking and mentoring to selected cohort participants.
The Academy will offer four, six-hour trainings that will: 1) explore the Latino/a identity—what unites us and makes us unique 2) provide self-leadership assessment and capacity building tools and 3) promote leadership on influential non-profit, city, county and state boards.
If selected for Cohort 8, participants contribute $250 toward the program. Financial assistance is available, and we are committed to working with participants to ensure cost is not a barrier to participation.
As part of the experience, participants will also be asked to purchase two leadership books.
