PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS (4 POSTS)

Are you an exceptional educator ready to make a meaningful impact? Emerald Academy is seeking full-time, experienced, and passionate teachers to join our dynamic team. Under the direct supervision of our Head of Campuses, you will inspire and educate students in a nurturing Christian environment.

Requirements:

1. Be God-fearing and spiritually alert
2. Hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education
3. Be well-versed in modern and effective teaching methods
4. Have 0–2 years teaching experience (entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply)
5. Demonstrate strong time management and leadership skills
6. Be willing to actively participate in morning devotions with staff and learners
7. Be flexible and prepared to support extra-curricular activities
8. Be willing to conduct one-on-one tutoring and remediation programmes
Key Responsibilities
1. Serve as a class teacher for one class
2. Teach Upper Primary or Lower Primary levels
3. Prepare lesson plans and deliver engaging lessons
4. Set examinations and assessments, and mark scripts
5. Maintain accurate learner records and reports
6. Uphold the values, standards, and ethos of Emerald Academy
Remuneration
1. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications, experience, and role responsibilities, in line with the Emerald Academy Salary Scale.
Added advantage:
1. Class B driver’s License
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office
