How It Works
Sometimes you don't need a solution; you just need to be heard. The Pod is a guided, casual sharing circle designed to bypass small talk and facilitate genuine, active listening. It is a dedicated environment where you can vocalize real-life experiences without the pressure of receiving unsolicited advice or forced problem-solving.
Important Note: This is a community-driven space focused on shared humanity and storytelling. It is not a clinical group therapy session, and there are no experts diagnosing issues.
The Sort: We open with a low-stakes icebreaker to divide the room into small, diverse "pods."
The Pod Sharing: Guided by our facilitator, Omar Eissa, pods will use a talking piece to ensure everyone gets an uninterrupted turn. You can register as a "Sharer" (bringing a specific story, frustration, or idea) or a "Listener" (holding space and participating in brief reflections).
The Harvest: We close the evening by reuniting as a full group to "harvest" the broader emotional themes that emerged across the room, highlighting our shared experiences.
