Please ensure all nominations meet the criteria below before submission.

PDG 26/27 Nominations

Club and schools should only nominate players who meet the criteria below for the Boys U15/U16 PDG.

Nominations must not be submitted by parents or players themselves.

Nomination Criteria

Players nominated must:

• Consistently influence games against strong opposition

• Show clear, ongoing skill development aligned to Sharks DNA

Players must align with the Sharks DNA outlined below.

Avoid general statements such as “deserves a chance”, “great attitude”, “natural leader”, “works hard”, “has potential”, or “would benefit from the programme” unless linked to clear match evidence.

If you cannot describe how this player currently influences games against strong opposition, he is probably not ready to nominate.

Submission Guidelines

To ensure a fair and manageable process:

• Each club may submit nominations through one designated contact per age group only

• Schools must submit nominations using an official school email address

• Nominations must be submitted by a club coach or school staff member.

Nomination Limits

• Up to 5 players at U15 (Born Sep 1.2011-31st Aug 2012)

• Up to 2 players at U16 (Born Sep 1 2010 - 31st Aug 2011)

Eligibility (RFU Regulations)

players must either:

• Live in Cheshire or Lancashire (inc. Greater Manchester, Merseyside & IOM ), or

• Attend School or play at a club in those areas

• Players living in North Wales are also eligible for nomination.

Parent/Guardians Nominations

• Parents/Guardians may only submit nominations in an official club or school coaching capacity

• Any nomination involving their own child must be supported by at least one additional coach within the environment

Important

• Multiple nominations from the same club via different individuals at the same age group will not be accepted.

• Nominations submitted from personal email accounts claiming to represent a school will not be accepted.

• Ensure all contact email addresses for parents/guardians are accurate and regularly monitored, as all communication will be sent via email

These players do not count towards the two-player nomination limit
