Thank you for being here.

I’m Rene Gellerman, a self-proclaimed grandma-in-waiting.

That's correct, I’m not a grandma yet. But with five grown kids, I hope to be.

And here's why I'm already thinking about it.

I loved raising our kids, and I'm incredibly proud of them. But looking back, I know I spent too much time caring and worrying about things that didn't matter nearly as much as I thought they did.

When my turn comes, I want to do some things differently. I'm not going to be mediocre, I aspire to be unforgettable. I want to bring everything I know now to a role I hope I'm lucky enough to have.

So I started wondering, What makes a grandma truly GRAND?

That question inspired Life Gets Grander, a book about the big deal of being a grandma and why the relationship matters so much.

But first, I want to learn from you.
