MAPP_MTL, the Plateau-Mont-Royal borough, CODEM/CJE, École secondaire Jeanne-Mance, Les Petits Frères, and the Société de développement de l'avenue Mont-Royal are teaming up for a cultural vitality project in the Plateau East, on Friday, September 25, 2026!
To foster intergenerational connections, students from École secondaire Jeanne-Mance will be paired with elders from Les Petits Frères — warmly known as Grand·e·s-Ami·e·s. Together, they'll share their memories and visions of the neighborhood through a series of workshops led by MAPP_MTL.
🗓️ Program:
11:30 AM–12:45 PM: Station de l'avenir
3:30–6:30 PM: Intergenerational Station de l'avenir
5–8 PM: Tupi Collective
7–8 PM: Intergenerational Jam Mapping
The Station de l'avenir is a mobile, solar-powered digital creation station. During the day, it becomes a workshop, collecting drawings and animations from the public using the Tagtool app. Once night falls, these creations are projected onto neighborhood buildings, bringing them to life. A magical activity for the young and young-at-heart alike!
On this occasion, a complimentary gourmet offering awaits you on site from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.!
