Our Community Guidelines

At afterSundays, we are dedicated to providing a "third space" outside of the Sunday service where Christians can build real, lasting connections in a safe and respectful environment. By joining our table, you agree to uphold these standards to ensure every dinner remains a place of genuine fellowship.

1. Identity & Profile Integrity

To maintain a community of trust and safety, we require the following from every member:

Authentic Photos: You must upload a clear, natural photo of yourself. Please avoid using memes, symbols, text overlays, or heavy filters that obscure your face.

Legal Name: We require the use of your real, legal name on your profile. We reserve the right to request ID verification to confirm your identity.

Verified Contact: You must provide and confirm a valid email address and phone number to receive dinner assignments and security updates.

Age & Region: You must be 18 years or older and a resident of the United States or Canada to participate.

Platform: The afterSundays experience is currently exclusive to iOS.

2. Conduct at the Table

We match six Christians to help you move past small talk into meaningful friendship. To protect this experience, the following are strictly prohibited:

Harassment & Bullying: We have zero tolerance for intimidation, insults, or emotional abuse.

Hate Speech: We do not allow dehumanizing speech or discrimination based on race, gender, disability, or denominational background.

Sexual Misconduct: Unwelcome sexual remarks, physical harassment, or the sharing of explicit content will result in an immediate permanent ban.

Commercial Solicitation: This is a space for community, not a marketplace. Do not use dinners to pitch business opportunities or MLM schemes.

3. Attendance & Reliability

Our algorithm relies on a balanced table of six. Your presence is essential:

No-Shows: Failing to attend a scheduled dinner without notice disrupts the experience for the other five guests. Repeated absences will result in account suspension.

Individual Reservations: Reservations are for you alone. To keep the group dynamic focused, please do not bring uninvited "plus-ones" to the table.

4. Enforcement & Reporting

We use a combination of automated systems and human review to protect our community. afterSundays reserves the right to suspend or remove any account that violates these guidelines or the spirit of our mission without prior notice.

Reporting: If you experience or witness a violation, please report it immediately.
