Thumbnail Designer Application Form

About the channel
Push Patterns is a YouTube channel teaching Ableton Live and Push 3 to electronic music producers. 32,000+ subscribers and growing. The channel sits alongside a wider business that includes 3 online courses, a 20,000+ subscriber newsletter, and an active community of producers.
The role
I'm looking for a thumbnail designer to take over thumbnails for the channel. 4 to 5 thumbnails per month to start. Remote, work to your own schedule, deadlines agreed per video.
Important: video introduction is required
Applications without a video will not be considered.
I want a short video (60 to 90 seconds) of you introducing yourself, talking through your design approach, and your experience with Ableton or music production. Loom or unlisted YouTube link is fine. Doesn't need to be polished. I just want to get a sense of who you are and how you think.
What I'm looking for
Experienced. You've designed thumbnails for YouTube channels before and have a portfolio to prove it.
Into Ableton or music production. Not essential but a big bonus. You'll understand the channel and the kind of viewer we're talking to.
Collaborative. I want someone who brings ideas, pushes back when something isn't working, and suggests things I haven't thought of. Not someone who just executes a brief.
No AI in the final product. Happy for AI to be used for sketching ideas or moodboarding, but the finished thumbnail needs to be designed and made by you.
Process
If your application stands out, we'll jump on a quick call. From there, a paid trial on a real upcoming video before we commit to anything ongoing.
