Higher Education for Climate Action Pavilion at COP31

Call for Applications to Host Sessions

The Higher Education for Climate Action Pavilion will once again be hosted at COP31 in Antalya, Türkiye, from November 9–20, 2026, bringing together universities and partners from around the world to showcase how higher education is driving practical solutions to address the climate crisis.

Building on the momentum of COP30, the Pavilion will highlight the critical role of higher education institutions (HEIs) in translating climate ambition into action, supporting implementation of the Paris Agreement, advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and strengthening global efforts on mitigation, adaptation, resilience, and climate justice. Sessions should highlight concrete examples, lessons learned, and scalable approaches that demonstrate how higher education can accelerate the transition toward a sustainable and climate-resilient future.

We invite proposals for collaborative sessions co-organised by multiple HEIs and partner organisations. Priority will be given to sessions that are co-organised by multiple HEIs, foster collaboration across sectors and regions, elevate diverse perspectives, and demonstrate how collective action can deliver meaningful climate outcomes.
Representatives from HEIs are invited to submit applications to host sessions, following the criteria and process outlined in this form. All Pavilion sessions will be held in person within the Blue Zone, and session organisers are required to attend in person. Please note that translation and interpretation services will not be available. Therefore, all sessions must be conducted in English.

All Pavilion sessions will be held in person within the Blue Zone.
