By submitting this form, you agree to the following terms:
1. Description of Services: Placement in the San Jose Spotlight online business directory for 12 months and ongoing as payments for the listing fees are current.
2. Eligibility Standards: Local Verified reserves the right to remove a business from the directory without a refund if they are found to be engaging in fraudulent or unethical behavior.
3. Fees, Renewals, and Refunds: Listing fees are determined at the time of purchase. The business listing fee will auto-renew at the one year anniversary. The subscriber authorizes billing with the payment method on file. There are no refunds once the listing is published in the business directory.
4. Third Party Reliance: Local Verified LLC works in partnership to manage and maintain the online business directory. Local Verified LLC is not responsible for downtime on the newspaper's website.
5. Editorial Independence Policy: San Jose Spotlight adheres to the editorial independence policy adopted by the Institute of Non-Profit News. San José Spotlight relies on donations and memberships to power our nonprofit newsroom, but our organization maintains editorial control of the coverage. Donors and sponsors have no influence over our content. Donors have no involvement in news decisions and we do not give supporters the rights to assign, review or edit content. News judgments are made independently and not on the basis of donor support. Your trust is the cornerstone of San José Spotlight's success. We'll always maintain a firewall between news coverage decisions and sources of all revenue.
