LFC minority investment - tell us what you think

Following the announcement of a purchase of LFC of around 30% from 1892 Holdings, we are keen to hear the views and opinions of supporters and our members.
Spirit of Shankly was formed in January 2008 as a consequence of the ownership under Hicks and Gillett. Back then, we committed to a constant aim to represent the best interests of our members and by extension LFC supporters, and to hold whoever owns LFC to account.
We did that then and have continued to do that under FSG's ownership on a range of issues. As the recognised supporters trust at LFC, it is part of the continued reason for our very existence that issues of governance and club ownership are discussed and understood.
Already we have heard from supporters about what they think this new investment might mean. There are a range of opinions - some welcome it and think it is necessary to compete, others are concerned about future commercialisation and their connection to the club and its values, and some are cautious or neutral.
Therefore we want to hear what you think of the new partial owners, what it might mean, and any questions that you have.
What you tell us will help influence and shape the next steps and what we ask of them.
