MyceLinks Micro Cinema is looking for two hosts to join our audience experience team during July 2026 at Teurastamo, Helsinki.

MyceLinks Micro Cinema presents curated short-form videopoetry, micro-documentaries and short films in public space. We create compact cultural experiences that reconnect cinema with everyday urban life.

We are seeking welcoming, confident and communicative individuals who enjoy interacting with people and helping create memorable visitor experiences.

Responsibilities Welcome visitors and introduce the Micro Cinema concept.Create a friendly and engaging atmosphere around the screenings.Answer questions from guests and visitors.Support memberships and audience engagement activities.Collect feedback and help build our growing community.Assist during special screenings and cultural events. Requirements Fluent English. Good Finnish language skills. Previous experience in hospitality, events, customer service, communications or similar public-facing roles.Professional, welcoming and audience-oriented presence. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work independently and engage confidently with visitors. Nice to Have Interest in cinema, arts, culture or creative industries. Experience working at festivals, cultural events or public venues. Social media and community-building experience. Project Details Location: Teurastamo, Helsinki.Period: July 2026.Project-based engagement.Two hosts will share the monthly commitment.Compensation includes a fixed project fee based on assigned event days, plus revenue-sharing opportunities.Details regarding compensation and the revenue-sharing structure will be discussed with shortlisted candidates during the selection process.

Engagement Structure

This is a project-based engagement linked to the operation of MyceLinks Micro Cinema during July 2026.

Selected candidates will be employed through a fixed-term employment agreement compliant with Finnish labour legislation.
