Happy Hounds Pet Spa Client Service Agreement
Hours: Happy Hounds Pet Spa is open Monday through Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm and Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm. All pets must be picked up by 5:00pm. Late pick ups will result in a late pick up fee of $2.00 per minute added to grooming fee to be paid at pick up. Happy Hounds cannot accommodate overnight stays.
Early arrivals: In the event you must drop your pet off early, please notify staff as soon as possible and we will try to make accommodations. However, the grooming session will begin at the original scheduled time and normally takes 3 to 4 hours. Please do not show up before being notified that your pup is ready. Doing so will result in grooming session ending immediately for your pup's safety and well being.
Late arrivals: Please notify staff in the event your pup is arriving late. Failure to arrive within 15 minutes of appointment time will result in a late arrival fee of $20. At 30 minutes your appointment will be canceled and a no show fee of 100% of the grooming fee will be added to your account and must be paid before scheduling future appointments.
No shows: Will be charged the full groom price that must be paid before next appointment will be scheduled.
Vaccinations: All pets must be current on vaccinations. You will need paperwork from your veterinary provider. Tags will not be considered proof of vaccines. Titers will be considered on an individual basis.
Matted pets: May require a shorter than usual length and incur extra charges.
Senior and special needs pets: May require extra tie for completion of haircut and/or incur extra charges.
Leashes: Please make sure your pet is on a leash. If using a retractable leash, please make sure it is locked. Also, please make sure the collar/harness is not too big.
Aggressive pets will be turned away and charged full grooming price.
Accidents: Happy Hounds Pet Spa is diligent about your pup's safety. Unruly or unsafe behavior will result in terminating the grooming session. In the event of an accident, the owner will be notified.
Pre-appointment walking: For the comfort of your pet and to keep appointments running on time, dogs must be walked and given a chance to relieve themselves before arriving for their grooming appointment. If extra time is required for this during the appointment, it may affect scheduling and could result in additional charges.
Pre existing illnesses and conditions: Happy Hounds Pet Spa is not responsible for underlying issues that may be revealed during the pet grooming process such as ear infections, possible skin or eye issues, or joint or nail issues.
Emergencies: In the rare event your pet suffers a medical emergency, the owner will be notified immediately and veterinary transportation will be offered to the nearest facility at the owner's expense.
Methods of payment include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, cash, checks, and various tap to pay methods. Payment is expected when services are rendered. Returned checks will incur a $50 fee.
Happy Hounds reserves the right to refuse service for difficult pets or owners.
By acknowledging this for by signing, I agree to abide by Happy Hounds policies, terms, and conditions. Failure to do so will result in client termination. This form gives Happy Hounds permission to seek medical care for my pet in the event of an emergency. This form will automatically apply to additional pets acquired by owner.
