Shenaniganz Dog Daycare – Terms and Conditions

At Shenaniganz Dog Daycare, we are committed to providing your dog with exceptional care in a safe, engaging environment. Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully. By enrolling your dog, you agree to the policies outlined below.

1. Risk of Injury and Illness

While all dogs are supervised during play, minor injuries such as cuts, scratches, and sprains may occasionally occur. Though uncommon, altercations can happen even between well-socialized dogs. Common areas for injury during play or scuffles include the ears, snout, neck, and paws.

All dogs are temperament tested before acceptance, and aggressive behavior is not tolerated. However, even friendly dogs may act unpredictably at times. Additionally, despite vaccination requirements, contagious illnesses such as kennel cough or upper respiratory infections may still be transmitted during group interaction.

All dogs must be up to date on required vaccinations prior to check-in.

2. Age, Gender, and Temperament

Dogs of all ages are welcome, provided they: - Are up to date on vaccinations, - Pass a temperament assessment, - Do not display signs of aggression. Shenaniganz Dog Daycare reserves the right to deny or remove any dog exhibiting aggressive or unsafe behavior.

3. Sick Dog Policy

We reserve the right to refuse service to any dog that appears to be ill or flea-infested. If your dog becomes unwell during their stay, they will be isolated and you will be contacted immediately for pick-up.

4. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made by 5:00 PM the day prior to the scheduled daycare day. Failure to notify us in time will result in a $20.00 no-show fee.

5. Late Drop-Off and Pick-Up Policy

- Dogs must be dropped off by 9:30 AM. Late drop-offs will incur a $5.00 late fee. - Dogs must be picked up by 5:45 PM. A late pick-up fee of $20.00 plus $1.00 per minute thereafter will apply.

6. Retainer Policy for Absences

To retain your dog’s placement during absences of two or more scheduled daycare days, a $25.00 per week retainer fee will apply. We understand that individual circumstances vary and will apply discretion where appropriate.

7. Veterinary Care and Emergencies

If your dog appears to be injured or unwell, we will attempt to contact you immediately. If we are unable to reach you, Shenaniganz Dog Daycare is authorized to seek veterinary care at its discretion.

We will attempt to use your preferred veterinarian, but reserve the right to use another veterinarian if necessary.

All veterinary expenses are the responsibility of the dog’s owner.

8. Photographs and Media

You grant Shenaniganz Dog Daycare permission to photograph or record your dog for use in advertising, social media, or promotional materials. No compensation is due for the use of such media.

9. Liability Waiver

a. Shenaniganz Dog Daycare will not be held liable for any injuries, illnesses, or death that may occur while your dog is in our care. You waive any and all claims, including for consequential damages.

b. You certify that your dog does not have a history of aggression toward people or other animals, and agree to accept full responsibility for any harm caused by your dog while in care.

c. You authorize Shenaniganz Dog Daycare to act in your dog’s best interest in the event of a medical emergency, including seeking veterinary care if necessary, at your expense.
