Environment

The Paris School of Economics (PSE) is a private, not-for-profit research foundation conducting economic research at the highest international standard, bringing together a community of 140 researchers and around 200 doctoral students. The International Tax Observatory (ITO), directed by Professor Gabriel Zucman and hosted at PSE, is dedicated to conducting, promoting, and disseminating innovative, high-quality, and policy-relevant research on global taxation. It is one of Europe’s leading institutions for the study of taxation, with a particular focus on corporate tax avoidance and tax evasion.

Position

We are recruiting one research assistant to work under the direct supervision of Mathieu Parenti (PSE, INRAE) and Gabriel Zucman (PSE, Berkeley) on research projects in international corporate taxation. Topics will span one or more of the following areas: taxation of multinational enterprises, profit shifting to low-tax jurisdictions, international tax reform (global minimum tax, reallocation of taxing rights), and quantitative analysis of cross-border financial flows.
